Delete Your Data
Clay Studio · data deletion request
You can delete your Clay Studio account and the data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do this.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open Clay Studio and go to the Profile screen.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
This permanently removes your account and your server-side data, and signs you out.
Request deletion by email
If you can’t access the app, email hello@claystudio.pro from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Clay Studio data”. We’ll verify your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and authentication record.
- Your potter name and profile picture.
- Your synchronised studio: pieces, stages, notes, glazes, clay bodies, recipes and saved ideas.
- Your stored photos, both the private backups of your pieces and any photo attached to a community post.
- Your community posts, comments, likes and follows.
- Your conversations with Clay, the in-app studio assistant.
- Your subscription and trial records held by us.
- Any feature-configuration data linked to your account.
Your usage analytics are unlinked from your account rather than erased, so the remaining events no longer identify you.
What lives on your device
Clay Studio also keeps a copy of your studio on the device itself, so the app works offline. Deleting the app, or clearing its data in your device settings, removes that copy. Deleting your account from inside the app clears the server-side data listed above; do both if you want nothing left anywhere.
